I wish I had found these silicone baking cups sooner!



The baking cups are a soft silicone that come in a pack of 24 bright, vivid colors. They are reusable so I'm not throwing away money by repeatedly purchasing paper liners, and because they are FDA approved and BPA free I feel good about baking with them while preventing more waste from being sent to the landfill.

I love that the baking cups are able to stand on their own without the need of a muffin pan for support. Instead of baking in batches of 12 I can place all 24 baking cups on a large cookie sheet which enables me to be able to cut my baking time in half when I need to make large batches.

My daughter was very excited and just couldn't wait make cupcakes in the colorful cups so we got right to work mixing up some cupcake batter. After washing the cups we laid them out on a cookie sheet and I sprayed all but one with cooking spray just to test how non stick they really are. They stood up well and didnt shift or collapse in while we filled them with batter. The cupcakes popped out easily, and as for the one I didn't spray with cooking spray I surprised that it came out really easy as well and the cupcake didn't break apart. It did leave a lot of cupcake residue behind on the liners so I will continue to spray before using. They are dishwasher safe but I choose to hand wash them because I figured they would be tossed about in the dishwasher.

One thing I find great about these cups is that they have multiple uses! My daughter likes to use them to sort colors and other little activities. They also fit great in car cup holders to hold toddler snacks and best of all its easy cleanup.

GoPure 100% Pure & Organic Argan Oil Review

There are many different uses for argan oil ranging from hair to nails eliminating the need to use multiple different products for the same results.


The argan oil arrived packaged in a small heavy duty cardboard box and was wrapped well in bubble wrap that didn't allow the product to shift preventing it from breaking. 

 It comes in a 4 oz. thick dark glass bottle and has a nice glass medicine dropper that screws onto the top and makes getting the oil quick and easy. The bottle is large and since a little goes a long way I have no doubt that it will last for quite a while. 

I have naturally frizzy wavy hair that I usually straighten but unfortunately even after styling my hair is still pretty frizzy. I have tried what seems like a million different products in hopes of fixing my frizz issue to no avail but now I have found that if I rub a few drops of argan oil in my hands and rub it through my hair before blow drying it leaves my hair sleek and shiny without a greasy appearance. It also makes a great night time moisturizer for my face. I have seen a big improvement in my rough dry skin and even a reduction in under eye dark circles. Although it makes a great night time moisturizer I can't recommend it for day time use. Even though it is fast absorbing and doesn't leave my skin looking greasy I have noticed that my makeup doesn't stay and easily wipes off. It has given me beautiful nails and improved my cuticle health. I love that it is easy to use and has fit into my daily beauty regimen  perfectly.

Amber Teething Necklace Review

I was slightly skeptical when it came to all the hype I've heard about amber teething necklaces, yet I still couldn't resist the urge to get one for my little guy.
The moment I received the package containing my amber teething necklace I couldn't wait to get it open and put it to use. Seriously I think I was more excited than a kid on Christmas morning (It had been a particularly bad teething day.) The necklace was packaged beautifully in a white fabric pouch and came with a stylish teething necklace for me to wear.



Once I got the necklace on him I couldn't get over how adorable he looked, I figured if it didn’t help for teething at least it was a cute accessory. Within an hour I noticed a definite change in his demeanor. He seemed calmer and he hadn't soaked his bib in drool. At first I thought it was probably just a coincidence but and he remained pretty content for the rest of the day. Before bed I removed the necklace and as usual it was a bit of a rough night with him waking up often. The next day I promptly put the necklace back on him and once again he was a content and happy little boy.



After a few days I decided to test it and didn’t put it on him and boy did I regret that decision! He was terribly cranky and drooling up a storm, his whole shirt was soaked! Around noon I caved and his amber teething necklace went back on him and luckily for me it didn’t take long for it to work its magic.

My son also loves chewing on the silicone teething necklace while I’m holding him. It also makes a great busy object for him to play with during nursing sessions.

My only regret I have when it comes to the amber teething necklace is that I didn’t get one for my daughter when she was a baby. I now swear by it and recommend it to all of my friends with little ones.

Gopure Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

For years now I been a huge fan of coconut oil and its many uses, so as you can imagine I jumped at the opportunity to review Gopure Natural’s fractionated coconut oil.

This was my first time using fractionated coconut oil, previously I always purchased it in the solid form and I never realized how much of an inconvenience it was until now. Coconut oil is a bathroom staple in my household, I love using it as a moisturizer by combining it with a few drops of jojoba oil and it works amazingly. In the fractionated state I don’t have to wait for the oil to melt before I can use it which saves time.  I have sensitive skin and it’s difficult to find a conventional moisturizer that I won’t have a reaction to and because this is pure coconut oil it enables me to have soft healthy skin without all the nasty chemicals. I loved that the oil absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feel to my skin.  I was able to apply my makeup easily and the oil didn’t affect the wear at all.

It’s also my go to product for treating my daughter’s eczema and I use it as a diaper “cream” on my son. Added bonus is that coconut oil is safe for cloth diapers.

One big difference I noticed between the fractionated state and the solid form is that the fractionated state doesn’t leave you smelling like a coconut which I love! The scent was always my biggest grip with using coconut oil as a moisturizer and now I can reap all the benefits without it.

  • Can be used as carrier oil for essential oils
  • Makes a great diaper “cream” or moisturizer for sensitive baby skin

Cons
  • Would be nice if it came with a pump top for ease of use because it flows out of the bottle really quickly.  

Now that I have tried fractionated coconut I don’t think I will use the solid form for anything other than cooking. I love how much easier and quicker it is to use already liquefied. I highly recommend anyone who loves coconut oil to give this a try. It really is amazing!

Monkey Moo Bib Review

It’s common knowledge that babies need a lot of stuff, and it can be easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of all the gear and accessories that accompany your bundle of joy!

Once my little guy began eating solids the mountain of bibs quickly began to grow. In fact I have so many that it is hard to keep the organized. I “stack” them as neatly as I can but that doesn’t stop the avalanche that happens every time the cabinet door is opened.

 While the patterns and designs on traditional cloth bibs are adorable they tend to stain easily, and honestly with an infant and toddler I just don’t have the extra time to pretreat each bib to keep all the food stains from setting in.

Needless to say I was excited when I received the chance to review the Monkey Moo baby bib (Side note: Seriously how cute is that name!). The bib is made of a soft food grade silicone that is lightweight and comfortable. I really liked the adjustable neck fastener, it allowed me to get a great fit that wasn’t too tight but didn’t allow for food or liquid to seep through to his clothing. The deep pocket does a great job at catching any dropped food which helps make clean up a breeze. I simply empty it into the trash, hand wash it and then hang it up to dry so it can be used for his next meal. So far I haven’t noticed any staining or blemishes forming so I believe it will continue looking like new for quite a while.

While I absolutely love this bib for meal times I still prefer my traditional cloth bibs for times my teething little guy is in need of something extra to keep his shirts from becoming drenched from drool. I have been able to pare down the amount of bibs that cluttered up my kitchen cabinet though, which is wonderful! I think this bib would make an amazing gift for expectant parents or would be a perfect alternative for parents sick of having to struggle with the mess of trying to keep a million bibs organized.
