I’ve unfortunately been plagued with dry flakey skin more whole life, so I’m always on the lookout for the latest skin care products. So of course when I had the chance to try Vita Sciences Maxasorb B-12 cream I couldn’t wait to try it!



Maxasorb B-12 cream is mixed with moisturizers and antioxidants that absorb well while leaving you with hydrated beautiful skin.   The cream is great for people with skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and has great anti-ageing properties as well.

The bottle contains 30 doses and only you normally only need to use it once a day. The cream is a light pink with a slight menthol smell and is incredibly easy to use. You simply rub two full pumps of cream into your skin and you’re done.  The cream absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling silky and soft.

It’s common knowledge that taking a Vitamin C supplement boosts your immune system, but did you know that applying it externally had amazing anti-aging benefits for your skin? I know I didn’t until I had the chance to try it for myself.



Vitamin C serum works to stimulate collagen production making your skin appear younger. When you pair it with hydraulic acid vitamin E and jojoba oil, you then have a concoction that is sure to make your skin look amazing.

The product has a light scent that sort of smells like cloves to me, but not to worry once the serum dries the scent fades quickly. At first the serum made my skin feel slightly sticky but then faded into a smooth velvety finish. I really like the way my skin looks and feels after using it and I look forward to seeing the way it improves my skin long term.

Federico's Tire Pressure Gauge Review

Everyone knows that properly inflated tires improve gas mileage but most tire pressure gauges are about the size of a pen, feel cheap and flimsy and end up lost often. This is not one of those pressure gauges! As a matter of fact I was surprised by how great the quality is.



It’s a hard heavy duty plastic and steel that has a thick rubber casing around the display, making it comfortable to hold and helps keep it from slipping or breaking. On the back there is a BAR conversion chart to help you to get the right amount of air without the guessing game. It also has a swivel head so you can read the display no matter what the angle is and it has an air release button.



My husband was able to get precise reading with it and he said that it worked great. It’s a great and durable product.

Sentey Flow Kids Headphones Review

I wanted to get my daughter a great pair of headphones without paying a premium price.



Sentey Flow headphones are designed a bit smaller than regular headphones so they will fit a child’s head but adjust large enough to comfortably fit an adult. My daughter is three and they fit perfectly. They have a sleek, modern design that gives them the look of much more expensive brands. There is ample cushioning that not only provides extreme comfort but also helps to block out noise, and there is a soft silicone on the headband that prevents slipping. The headphones also fold up for easy storage or travel and have a removable 3.5m audio cable.  






I really love these headphones. They are convenient for on the go and allow my daughter to watch a video or play games while I’m running errands without disturbing others with the sounds. The price is very reasonable and I was surprised by the pristine sound quality. The only thing I would have liked was for them to be blue tooth compatible but for the price I can look past that. I highly recommend these!

I take a TON of photos and videos of my kids. The problem is the amount of space each one takes up on my hard drive. After searching for ways to safely store them I came across the Liztek external hard drive docking station.



The docking station allows me the option t0 save my data on multiple hard drives without the hassle of having to manually swap out my hard drives inside my computer.



The hard drive dock is a well built, sturdy product made of durable plastic and comes with high quality cables.


Once I connected the docking station to my computer with the usb 3.0 cable, I simply inserted my hard drive. I was instantly able to access my hard drive from my desktop and add or remove data. The transfer speed with the included 3.0 usb cable was fast and efficient.  My photos and videos were available on my external hard drive in much less time than I had anticipated.



It’s a user friendly product that I wish I had found sooner!

Midori Spring Organic Matcha Tea Review

I was initially nervous to try Matcha tea, but because drinking one serving of Matcha tea is equivalent to drinking 10 servings of green tea when it comes to the health benefits, I wanted to give it a try. 



For those of you who aren’t familiar with Matcha tea, it's an antioxidant rich green tea. In fact it has 137 times more antioxidants than a typical serving of green tea.  Unlike green tea, when you drink Matcha tea you actually ingest the full leaf so you’re getting all of the nutrients.

The tea came in a hard tin container and once I screwed the top off I was met with a bright green powder. Seriously people I’m talking a BRIGHT green.  Not exactly a radioactive green but not really something I would think would healthy to drink. After my husband’s questioning over whether or not I was actually going to drink it, I began the prep for making the tea.



I followed the directions and warmed up the cup by filling it with warm water and then dumping it and drying the cup, which did seem counterproductive but that’s what it said to do. I then scooped the tea into my cup and added the hot water. The next part called for using a bamboo whisk to mix but I didn’t have one so I used a fork and it worked fine. The tea became a deep green and once the thin layer of froth formed and I was satisfied there were no more clumps. I was ready for the taste test.




After staring at it and trying to convince my husband to try it first with no luck, I prepared myself and took a sip. At least the fantastic health benefits would make up for the taste…right?

Surprisingly though it wasn’t bad. The first little sip turned into another and then another until it was gone. The tea was a little strong at first but the taste can be adjusted by adding wate. It’s a great drink to have during an afternoon pick me up. Just grab a book and your mug of Matcha tea and take a few minutes for yourself.

My Konjac Sponge Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sponge Review

I’m always on the lookout for new skincare products and have run into one that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. It’s Konjac sponge with bamboo charcoal. At first I had no idea what it did or how to use it. After a bit of searching the web I came across a few video tutorials and I was immediately intrigued.



After removing the Konjac sponge from the packaging it was as hard a pumice stone but after following the directions and soaking it in water it quickly became incredibly soft and ready to use. The sponge can be used with or without soap, I chose to test it without.  After pulling my hair back I pressed the sponge between both hands to squeeze excess water out, you do not want to wring the sponge out. I then began buffing my skin in small circular motions which gently exfoliated.



Honestly I wasn’t sure if it was doing anything until I was finished. My skin felt clean and smooth. I have noticed a significant decrease in my pores and my skin looks great. The only issue I have encountered is although I am not usually prone to breakouts, I have noticed if I buff in one spot a lot or use the sponge more than every other day my skin will get blemishes in those areas.

The konjac sponge is completely natural and biodegradable. It typically lasts for 2-3 months and has a string to hang it with so it will completely dry, preventing any bacteria from growing. The sponge shrinks when it is dry, which is perfectly normal and should be expected. It’s great for people with oily or acne prone skin as it cleanses your pores and reduces oil.

Cashmere Falls Argan Oil

 I’m a huge fan of Argan oil and I was recently given the chance to try Cashmere Falls heavenly hydration oil. I went into it expecting the same results I’ve had from other brands I’ve used. After the first use I was sold… seriously where has this been all my life?  My hair looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!



Imagine all of the hair product commercials and magazine ads with the gorgeous models with the ultra-shiny, every strand in place, perfect hair that makes you envious and want to run right out and buy that product. Well I think most women have fallen into that trap (I know I have). You buy the product expecting the incredible hair you seen on the model. Only you end up with hair that looks greasy instead of shiny or weighed down and lifeless. The only thing left to do is call it a loss and rewash your hair. I am happy to say this is not one of those products!

What’s unique about this oil is that unlike other Argan oil is it’s not thin and runny, instead it a thicker consistency that allows you to get all of the product through your hair without the mess.

After I laid my son down for his afternoon nap I was able to indulge in some mommy time and pamper myself. Meaning I grabbed the baby monitor, rushed to the shower, frantically washed my hair while repeatedly hearing phantom cries that caused me to panic and get soap in my eyes. I applied about a dime size amount in my palm and rubbed the oil throughout my damp hair. I then added a small amount more just to my ends. I allowed my hair to air dry (as to not wake the sleeping baby with the blow dryer.) Once dry I styled my hair by running a straightener through it and that was when I realized just how awesome my hair looked. By the time I was done my hair bouncy and beautiful! There was so much shine and almost zero frizz, not to mention how incredibly soft my hair was, I could not stop running my hand through it!  

My three year old daughter even looked at me and sad “Mommy you look pretty” which then prompted my husband to look up and state “She’s right your hair looks great, what did you do?” I couldn't stop smiling I felt confident and loved my hair. Even better the sleek and shine lasted until my next hair wash (I go three days between washes or my hair gets dry) without causing it to get greasy looking quickly.

Super-5 Probiotic Review

After hearing the saying “All diseases begin in the gut” I began doing a little research and read the great benefits of taking a probiotic so I decided to give it a try and am I so glad I did.


I began taking the probiotics about two weeks ago and have really noticed a change. The pills aren't too large, are easy to swallow and don’t leave an aftertaste. I have more energy throughout the day and my cravings for sweets have subsided. The most surprising result I have had from regularly taking a probiotic is that my allergies have significantly improved. Right before I received them I was having to take a  Zyrtec daily and my eyes were still watery and I just felt off. Within a few days I wasn’t having as many allergy symptoms and now I haven’t needed to take a Zyrtec in about a week! Swaddlez Bamboo Crib Mattress Protector Review

After looking for a crib mattress protector that not only offered optimum protection but was also safe for my son, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try the Swaddlez bamboo crib mattress protector.


Unlike the majority of crib mattress protectors, swaddlez uses thermoplastic polyurethane, also known as TPU instead of PVC/vinyl as the water proof layer. TPU does not contain any plasticizers and therefor does not outgas or leach and is biodegradable. It is also free of phthalate and lead. The absorbent layer is a terry cloth comprised of 77% bamboo fiber and 23% polyester. Bamboo is a highly absorbent material and doesn’t hold odors the way other fabrics may. Its machine washable but I only dry it on low heat in the dryer or hang it up to air dry to prevent any damage to the waterproof layer.



There was no odd or plastic smell after I opened it, and the bamboo material felt very soft. It has deep pockets so it fits snugly and securely onto the mattress and the fitted sheet fit perfectly over it. The pad didn’t add much bulk and my son was able to sleep comfortably.  I feel good about using a mattress protector that has been made by a company committed to using safe materials for infants.
