Survival Water Filter Straw Review

This is a must have item whether you are a hiker, camper or just preparing for the possible.

It is light weight and can easily be stored in your back pack or can be worn around your neck. It filters up to 396 gallons of water and is BPA, chlorine and free of chemicals.

My husband couldn’t wait to give it a try so right after the package arrived he ripped it right open and grabbed a glass of water. At first it took a little bit to get the water through the filter and he was surprised at how much he had to work for it but once the water made its way through it became much easier. He said the water had a strong plastic taste, but in a situation where you would need to use the straw, the taste would be the least of your worries. After use you blow into the straw to remove any impurities and the close the tabs to seal it for next time.

All in all it is a great item to keep on hand and I definitely recommend it.
