Bakeitfun Silicone Baking Mat
I am a little embarrassed to admit that I am not the best
baker. The problem is that I never seem to grease the pan enough which causes
sticking resulting in ugly and broken baked goods or I place the dough too
close together and when I take it out of the oven it’s basically one giant
cookie.
Bakeitfun silicone baking mats replace the use for parchment
paper and tin foil for lining pans, saving you money while helping the
environment! It’s nonstick, so you do not have to use unhealthy cooking sprays,
oils and butter. It lasts up to 2,000 uses and is BPA and FDA approved. The mat
can withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees and have the unique feature of
rulers and circles so you know where to place the dough.
The directions called for greasing the mat before the first
use, so after washing it in hot soapy water and drying it, I lightly coated it
with canola oil and placed it on my cookie sheet. After I whipped up some
peanut butter cookie dough with my daughter we rolled it into small balls and
placed them in the circles and placed them in the oven. About 12 minutes later
I pulled the cookies out and they looked perfect! Once they passed the test of
being individual cookies I then had to get them onto the cooling rack without
destroying them. The spatula went under the first cookie extremely easily, so
easily I was sure it was a fluke, but sure enough I was able to transfer all of
my cookies in one piece with very little residue left on the mat. Washing the
mat was very easy I just laid it out in the sink and wiped it clean with soapy
water.
I like this product so much I am seriously getting more!
