Making your own baby food has many benefits. The food is fresh with no preservatives, you know how it was made and what went into it and it saves you money.

Of course after preparing food for your infant you have to decide how you’re going to store it.

The method I always used was to cook large batches,  pour it into ice cube trays then put the frozen cubes into labeled freezer bags.  Unfortunately getting the frozen out of the trays was a hassle, the lumpy freezer bags didn’t stack well and I never knew the answer when my pediatrician asked how many ounces are you feeding them? Uh, 4-6 cubes.

The silicone baby food freezer tray fixes all of those problems!

The tray is a soft silicone and has a top that snaps on top making them stackable and prevents the food from spilling out while you’re trying to get them in the freezer. Each tray holds 9 2 oz servings and it is so easy to get each portion out for use, you just squeeze the bottom up and out pops the cube (cylinder?), Easy-peasy!  The tray is FDA approved BPA, phthalates, PVC and Nitrosamine free. You can even toss it in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. It even comes with a free Ebook with 25 recipes for homemade baby food.

It’s a must have for anyone wanting to make their own baby food.
